DR FIONA

Dr Fiona MacRae is an NHS doctor of over 30 years experience who trained at the Marion Gluck Training Academy. Marion Gluck is the pioneer of Bio-Identical Hormone Replacement and Womens Health in the UK. She is also a member of the British Menopause Society.

Fiona is a member of the British Menopause Society and the Institute of Functional Medicine. She has a level 7 diploma in diet and nutrition and a higher education teaching certificate from Harvard University. She has also undertaken training in Option Process counselling.

Fiona gained her primary medical degree, MB ChB, at Liverpool University where she was awarded prizes in both clinical medicine and psychology. She then worked in several specialties including emergency medicine, cardiology and general practice before settling into a career in anaesthesia and critical care. She obtained her Fellowship of the Royal College of Anaesthesia in 2002 and has worked for over 20 years as a specialist. She began her work in medical microbiology at the beginning of the pandemic, and has since carved out a niche role within this department providing critical care services.
