Microdermabrasion results in a constant stimulation of cell renewal by the process of removing the excess dead skin cells from the stratum corneum (the top layer of the epidermis). This method for rejuvenating skin on the face and neck can improve fine wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, soften acne scars, and reduce enlarged pores

By age 35, almost 50% of the skin’s ability to consume and retain oxygen has been impaired. Less oxygen results in more wrinkles, fine lines, and dull looking skin.

Why should I consider the Ultrapeel?
Your skin is the first thing people notice about you. Mattioli Ultrapeel microdermabrasion systems have been providing people around the world with healthy, glowing skin for more than 15 years.

What is Ultrapeel Microdermabrasion?
The Ultrapeel microdermabrasion systems are the most popular microdermabrasion devices among doctors and skin specialists in the United States. Microdermabrasion uses crystals to perform progressive abrasion of the skin. The crystals, called corundum, gently polish the skin.

A sterile handpiece is attached to a tubing system through which corundum crystals are propelled at a high speed across the skin’s surface, thus gently abrading the top layer of skin. The used crystals and dead cells are then vacuumed.

The final result is smooth, healthy, and glowing skin!

The number of microdermabrasion sessions needed will depend on the severity of your skin concerns as well as your expectations. The results you get from microdermabrasion are cumulative. Generally, six treatments are scheduled approximately 14 days apart.

A series of 6 treatments is usually recommended for optimum results, with 2 weeks in between for skin to recover. The entire procedure usually takes just under 30 minutes for the face.
